Welcome to our first post of our new TELT Tips series! Over the month of July, the TELT team will be sharing new resources every week about how to improve your dual delivery teaching.
Dual delivery, or teaching face-to-face and online students simultaneously, is very challenging for teachers, and many students who are participating online report that they have poor experiences as they can’t see or hear what’s happening in the on-campus classroom. As the Zoom recording is used later by students for reviewing, it’s critical to ensure that everything is captured clearly.
In this video, we share some easy tips to improve your dual delivery teaching so that students can participate online.
In our upcoming posts, we’ll look at how to engage online students, and how to encourage students to turn on their Zoom cameras.
